Trump praises yet another guy accused of battering women
In February 2018, White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter resigned after it was revealed that both of his former wives had accused him of domestic abuse. One ex-wife released photos of her injuries after an alleged beating; the other had received a legal restraining order against him.

But OTDI 2018, Trump publicly praised his aide, saying, “We certainly wish him well,” and “We hope he has a wonderful career.”
Long list
So Porter thereby became yet another man accused of abusing women whom Trump quickly jumped to support -- a long, long list that also includes Alabama Senatorial candidate Rob Moore, advisor Corey Lewandowski, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh (watch for details in August 13’s OTDI), among many others.
It was later revealed that senior officials in the Administration knew about the allegations against Porter while he worked there. It also came out that Porter had been given his job without receiving appropriate security clearances. Ah, The Trump Administration!
Btw, it just keeps coming. After leaving the White House, Trump hired Walt Nauta as his “body man.” Were we surprised earlier this week when @SollenbergerRC at The Daily Beast revealed that Nauta had earlier been accused of sexual misconduct -- including posting revenge porn -- by three women? (Note: Trump hired him after the allegations had been made.) And, are we surprised that Nauta is now Trump’s co-defendant in his indictment for hiding or tampering with sensitive government documents?
Trump seems to take these accusations against his friends personally. It's almost as if he knew that someday he himself would be found liable for sexual abuse.
Note: Sexual harassment is never a laughing matter. But, @RandyRainbow's take on the Trump/Porter situation is enlightening:
