While campaigning in 2016, Trump promised America that our "trillions of dollars in debt: We’re going to pay it off. We’re going to get it done fast too.”
But in reality, Trump guided our national debt to a 39% increase during his term. So between what he promised to pay off, and the amounts he added, there’s a $43 trillion differential.
Yet Trump now campaigns in '24 on his “Promises Kept” slogan. Who falls for this stuff?
