Trump’s record on environmental protection is abysmal.
OTDI 2019, an analysis from NYU concluded that Trump’s efforts to roll back clean air protections would result in an estimated 25,000 deaths, plus hundreds of thousands of hospital admissions, and millions of asthma attacks–each year.
“The Trump Administration’s actions amount to a virtual surrender to climate change,” the report stated.
It got worse. By the end of the Trump Administration, a NYT analysis, based on research from Harvard Law School, Columbia Law School, and other sources, counted 112 environmental rules that Trump reversed, revoked, or otherwise rolled back.
